Pure & Essential Daily Vitamin D3 is a natural form of D3 derived from lanolin. It provides cholecalciferol, the most biologically active form of vitamin D that is easily absorbed by the body and taken up into the bloodstream. Our small tablets deliver 2000 IU of vitamin D3, suitable for everyday use throughout the year. Excessive doses of vitamin D3 can upset the delicate ratio of calcium and vitamin D in the body, so higher doses should only be taken when necessary to boost extremely low vitamin D blood levels.

Biologically active vitamin D3 form
Vitamin D exists in two forms: ergocalciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3). Vitamin D3 is the form naturally produced in the body and the most biologically active form, which is better absorbed and utilised by the body.

Many vitamin D supplements provide vitamin D2, but the more potent supplement form cholecalciferol (D3) is up to 3 times as active as the synthetic ergocalciferol (D2). We source our vitamin D3 from lanolin, derived from sheep’s wool.

Optimal daily dose
As a fat-soluble vitamin, the body can struggle to expel vitamin D if taken in high amounts for too long. Due to its role in regulating our blood calcium levels, supplementing with high doses can lead to high levels of calcium in the blood, also known as hypercalcaemia which can lead to fatigue, weakness, sleepiness and headaches. Optimise blood levels year-round

This 80% concentrated wild fish oil has been expertly formulated to provide an effective, intensive dose without over-saturating the body. At more than twice the concentration of a standard fish oil, each serving provides 1000mg of the active omega-3 EPA and DHA.
